Hi,

I've just noticed that it seems I am not getting my full 2% cashback on my gas & elec. Does anyone know if there is a list of "approved suppliers" that Santander acknowledge to provide cashback from before I send them a message? I'm sure initially i got it but I've only just noticed I now only seem to get it on one of them. Not sure which one as the DD is a similar amount so hard to say and the info doesn't' say, just says "2% for gas & elec".

Many thanks

Kev

Thanks @Gerry1 - it seems both my suppliers are eligible so i'll send them a message and see what they say.

Thanks @streaky bacon Yes was aware of that although i think its still 2% but capped at £5 per tier now. Rather annoying but as my mortgage is with Santander, its more convenient to keep the account, I am now considering my options to move some money i keep it in elsewhere as not much point for 1%.. I see they have a 123 lite account but need to look into that further as I believe same cash back rates/tiers/caps BUT a lower fee per month, i'm just not sure if I get new account number, have to re-setup all DDs etc OR if they would simply change the account name and keep everything else the same, including account number.

My fixed rate mortgage is also up this year so I probably wont rock the boat too much until I sort out a new fixed rate deal in few months time.

Grrr... both Neon Reef and Gulf Gas & Power UK are missing. flame.gif

And they still can't get Yorkshire Energy's name right, despite having been told months ago.

ah... I may have discovered why... One of my bills is with SSE Southern electric BUT that isn't listed. Does anyone else have energy via SSE Southern electric and not get cashback or do they? If i google southern electric, it immediately shows SSE southern electric.

    Thanks

I wrote to them and got this reply yesterday:

    Kind Regards Santander Customer Services

    It costs £1 a month.

Santander show them as SSE Energy.

Thanks @Cardew, yes was aware of the £1/month vs £5/month fee, just need to compare the 2 accounts and see what differences there are as the cashback is the same so wondering what the advantage is unless the accounts used to pay different rates but now don't.

Still puzzled why SSE Southern electric doesn't show on the list, i'm sure if my be southern electric on the list, wonder if anyone else gets cashback or has raised this with Santander before.

Will need to go through my account as maybe it stopped when i changed my tariff but i been with them almost 3 years now and hoping to change providers in couple of months, just thinking of that lost money i never got :(

I been with them almost 3 years but not sure which point it stopped, will need to go through my account online..

You may get a double dollop in January: DD dates wobble around Christmas and the New Year.

Seems that computers also have bank holidays ! :D
