Mail Boxes and Virtual Addresses

Hi All,
I have just started up as a Ltd company. I don't like having my home address as my correspondence address and I am keen to find a business address in London (mainly light use - vast majority is online). Nothing elaborate - mail forwarding as and when. I don't want a PO Box.
Does anyone have recommendations or suggestions for reputable companies? There are a number I have seen in London, all of variable price etc.
Thank you

depends if you want a "prestigious" London address or a cheap London address?0

Whatever you choose, check the address on google to see if anything negative comes up re other firms using the same address. Some pretty disreputable firms use virtual/service addresses and sometimes there can be bad publicity, poor reviews, even sometimes they're shown on TV programs like Rogue Traders.
Even if there's nothing negative, it can still be off putting to potential customers/suppliers if a google search of the address throws up dozens or even hundreds of people/companies as it makes it obvious it's a virtual/service address rather than your real address.
Just type in the address you are offered and see what google results you get.0 -
If you have an accountant do they offer this service?Signature removed for peace of mind0

I use Rapid Formation and happy to recommend. Pricing very reasonable.
We picked a Covent Garden address in London.
Mail can be forwarded to your chosen address or scanned and emailed to you.

It depends on the sector your business is in, but having an address which is clearly unconnected with you or the business, can put many prospective customers and suppliers off. I know that I have refused to take on clients who use an address which is clearly not connected with their business.0

alternatively, we have clients who expressly use "prestigious" London addresses because they think that makes them look "better".
Although, as others point out, does not take much effort with google to work out it is an accommodation address, not a trading address, so effectively could be counter productive0 -

been using virtual addresses for my business for 5 years, it's NEVER been an issue. Registered addresses for public websites, companies house etc. Home address for HMRC, VAT, client corrospondence.
I deal with clients big, and small. Have a central regitstered address in one location but they're based elsewhere.
It's is very common.0 -
