Barcleona (Sitges)

We have booked 17yo daughter on a summer school residential this July in Barcelona. Sitges to be precise.

What we wish to do is all 3 of us fly and have a few days together before dropping her off at her summer school. Then myself and DH have the time that she's at her summer school for just us and when we pick her up have another day or two for the three of us before flying back.

Any suggestions for where to stay considering we need to consider a teen at the beginning and end of the hol and just 2 adults inbetween?

  • Here's a suggestion - any resort near the Port Aventura theme park which is on the coast travelling south from Barcelona - would be ideal for a teenager.

Nearest airport is Reus, and I reckon there will be suitable flights form UK.

Sitges is 70 odd kilometres heading back up the main highway - several travel options.

Sitges is fabulous. Easy to get to from Barcelona - direct train from the centre, direct bus from the airport. Loads of accommodation to choose from. I would stay there.

Sitges is expensive in high season and poor value for money. If there are good flights to Reus then stay near the coast there.
