Clydesdale acquisition of Virgin: impact on speed of Virgin faster payment withdrawals?

I actually had a look around the YB website today, after using my account. Quickly got redirected to VM site, which confirmed that the Virgin Money Current Account currently on offer is the former B account, and also that existing current accounts starting 05 (Yorkshire Bank), 82 (original Clydesdale Bank) and Sort code 08-60-64 (Northern Rock and VM opened prior to 20 October 2019) are each treated differently in some respects. https://uk.virginmoney.com/current-accounts/information-about-current-account-service

It's possible that withdrawals from maturing branch-based regular savings have speeded-up!

My Branch Issue14 regular saver matured today and I went into the branch to transfer the funds to my Santander bank account at c10:30. The funds were credited to the Santander account before 11:45 when I first checked. In my experience from previous transfers of maturing branch accounts, the funds haven't appeared until the afternoon.

But it may just be a statistical outlier to get it so much earlier. Or they've put more staff on transfers to cope with today's maturity transfers.
