Hoover washing machine E20 code but drains normally for first minute of cycle

Hi hoping one of you can help me here, as the title says the machine behave normally for the first minute with no abnormal sounds before stopping and displaying E20.

I have checked the filter I've disconnected the hose from the drum to the the pump and I have felt along the outlet close but not disconnected as there is a wire wrapped around it. I also didn't fancy disassembling the pump but could do that if you guys think it's worth it.

The washing machine was recently transported a 10-minute drive to my house as I bought it on Gumtree. It was demonstrated as working at the old address.

the old owner has an engineer for me next week but I cannot take the time off work and would like to do some laundry this weekend if it's an easy fix for a relatively experienced DIYer

Did you transport it, or the seller? Was the metal strap refitted during transport (it holds the drum in place)?

If so, has it now been removed? If not, could transporting it have caused some damage?
