Firestick not working

I had a working Firestick but rarely use it. Lately when I have tried to, the screen goes blank instead of coming up with the main menu on the HDMI2 page. I have checked all the connecting wires and everything is in order. What else could it be? Broadband connection? The Firestick itself not working?

Have a Google. When mine did this there were a few suggestions to fix this. They didn't work for me and I ended up buying a new one. However I later found out they are guaranteed, I think for a year, so if yours is still covered you should contact amazon for them to replace it.Live the good life where you have been planted.
