Mixer shower with solar hot water

I need to replace my old Mira 88 non-thermostatic mixer shower -gravity fed system. The hot water temp coming into the shower can be anything from 37C to 55C. Only when the solar controller shows tank temperatures lower than 37C do I turn on oil boiler water heating. This has lowered oil bills significantly.

Will a thermostatic mixer shower operate with these temp ranges?

For example, if the desired water temp set up in the mixer is, say 41C, which seems to be a default setting with most Mira thermo mixers, will the shower still operate at sub-41C water temp or will it refuse to deliver water at all?
Thanks

I had a Mira thermostatic shower with solar hot water, but I set the low tank temp to 45C, with electric immersion heater, leaving the gas system off in summer. It worked fine, even coped when tank temp was >75C in summer.

The shower will deliver water even if the source is cold.
