Opening a new Virgin Money account
[Deleted User]
I was previously a member of B bank but this account was closed over a year ago. I now wish to apply for a Virgin Money account and when app;ying it advises me I look familiar and asks me to log in to apply.
If I choose the existing customer it asks me for my customer number, so I enter this, then it asks me to log into the app to verify my identity. So I try to log in and it says I dont have any accounts and to apply only or through the app. Im going round in circles.
Has anyone had this? Their customer service dont seem to have a clue.

Is this a old app that you had on your phone?
Possibly delete, restart and reinstall.
If not, is there a option to set up as new customer?Life in the slow lane0 -

The app on my phone is the B app, havent logged in for a year or so as accounts were closed. It still recognises my customer number and when I log in it says I have no accounts and I need to apply.
I cannot set up as a new customer and it recognises me and wants me to use the app to verify my identity, then when I try to log into the app the above happens0 -
Apply over the phone instead.0
