Using ebay as "payday loan"

They didn't get it for free, they paid £79 or whatever to use Amazon for the service.

Likelihood now is these sellers burn through accounts using the free trials.

There are certain products at certain times which are limited to say 3 per account yet you see sellers on eBay selling more than that in a day.

I've never been a fan of these sellers simply because they damage eBay's marketplace but it's something that comes down to eBay to act on.

I can fully understand the ill felling when the other poster mentions "they made a profit out of me not shopping around which of course annoyed me" although perhaps not the rest of their reasoning.

In the OP I stated that this was specifically not dropshipping.

It frequently occurs with Amazon vouchers that people sell before they actually have them. I bought some once and I said I would pay in 3 weeks time when they had the vouchers. They got very abusive but I did pay 3 weeks later and they did send the vouchers, so I left neutral feedback for the poor communication.

The most brazen example was the guy who advertised £300 cash (to be sent by special delivery) in 2 weeks. The photo was one of those newspaper photos of cash used in articles about business. I bid £300 but the winning bid was £340. Positive feedback was left 3 weeks later, so either they did send the money, and/or it was a very expensive / strange way of getting fake feedback.
