Lego sets incomplete

I bought some Lego mixels in sets of 3 from a private seller on Facebook. Each set has something missing or substituted with a different coloured piece. The seller said she thought they were complete. They were posted and I paid on PayPal. What should I do . Thanks

Complete sets are worth a lot more than incomplete ones.
I had this once before with a duplo set that was missing 4 bricks. They found them and sent them to me!
Contact them, and ask them to send the missing pieces, pointing out that it has a much lower value if incomplete. See what they say...
Do you have their address? Did you pay for named goods or friends and family? If they do not play ball, all you can really do is leave a poor review for them in the Facebook groups they post items in.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

There are 9 sets in total. I messaged her. She said her son made them up beforehand. So that means she didn't check each piece. The thing with mixels is they are small but intricate parts.so need to be right piece. Don't mind colour substitute but whole pieces missing is naughty. I paid £3 for each set which I know they sell for more now as they are discontinued but they were this price new.
I told her which pieces are missing. She hasn't come back to me yet. I paid PayPal with protection so I could raise a dispute. I just wish people would be honest and say ( some substitute or this set has missing sword or tool). My son wanted them and he us disappointed. I wouldn't sell something myself unless I said the true nature and I wouldn't trust my son either.
She was selling on marketplace so don't think I can do much about that.0 -

If you paid by PayPal for named goods you can open a claim for SNAD, you would need to return the items tracked but assuming you win the dispute you would get a refund.
I'm not sure if PayPal still have the scheme where they pay for return postage if you sign up beforehand, but that's worth a look.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes they doyou can submit up to 12 claims in a calendar year, for up to £15 per claim (e.g. for international postage).
You do have to submit proof of address as well as proof of the postage cost, so take a photo of the parcel with the address on as well as the proof of postage once you've sent it.0 -

Thank you. I have messaged the seller. I will give them a day or two to see if they can find the missing pieces or offer maybe a partial refund. I don't know. I don't think they did it to be sneaky but I wouldn't trust just my son to check the pieces. She was selling a lot of sets. I think she has taken them off marketplace now.0
