Money paid from corporate director?

I have an appointee that manages my benefits and he pays me a personal allowance of £125 a week. On my bank statements it says I'm paid by Corporate Director? Can I ask would a person who is in employment have Corporate Director on their account. What circumstances would a person be paid by a Corporate Director?

When I read your post it seemed familiar and I was sure you had asked the question before and you have https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6025603/payments-from-corporate-director
The problem is that it is difficult to understand why (or even how) your appointee maintains a bank account in the name of '' Corporate Director', assuming of course that 'Corporate Director' is not his/her name.
We would like to assist here but you must be clearer about exactly what it shows on your bank statement concerning these payments. The easiest way would probably be for you to simply ask this person the question 'Why do the payments that I receive from you show on my bank statement as coming from Corporate Director and not from Mr Smith' (or whatever their name is). If you have any concerns about their answer, tell us what they say and we will give our opinions of what you have been told.0 -
Lets say your appointee is John Smith and he works for Social Services or perhaps the Court of Protection.
John Smith is not paying you personally so his name does not appear on your bank statements.
He will be authorising the payment which will come from Social Services or the Court and what appears on the statement is whatever that department calls itself internally to the organisation.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
