I think the term 'Amber Gambler' was (possibly) coined in the 1970s during a TV ad campaign to make motorists aware of the dangers of setting off at traffic lights before the green light shows. So, in truth, yes, a fairly old phrase indeed.
Well we haven't necessarily wasted our time, because some of the information could be useful to other forum readers.
I suspect the trolls are in league and competing to see who can get the most responses or the most vitriol thrown at them.
