USB sticks messed up PC

A friend collects photographs of his area and used a usb stick yesterday to copy photos from my pc and nothing has worked proper;y since.

I'm not technichal minded so please excuse my bad description.

When selecting a site the little wheel at the top of the page just keeps going instead of stopping when the site has installed and my page display has changed it's got a wide border at the bottom only letting me see part of the page and I can't move it.

I think whatever site he visited knocked him off the net so I just put him back on not thinking anything about it but when I then logged on all my settings looked different.

I have given him his own user name so he can't get into my personal files and photos.

I would appreciate any help if anyone can understand my explanation.

I did a system restore then put it back again as that didn't seem to help also did a full scan with superantispyware.

Have I explained badly or is there no solution?
I can still use this site but as i said it looks like it's still loading all the time.

It is a little unclear... are you saying friend got these photos from the internet?

What browser are you using?

Your description makes it sound as though your internet is completely messed up... so are you posting from a different PC?

No it's not completely messed up but it's not right:D

With firefox there's like a little wheel at the top of the page that stops revolving when the page is fully loaded, well now it won't stop although I've got the page and am able to post and reply, same with other sites too. It just looks like it's trying to load all the time. I'm sorry I 'm maybe not explaining properly but it's doing my head in. When I logged on after him my home page had changed, camera card won't work although he didn't use that anyway.
I've done 3 system restore and they've not helped.

Friend sounds like a right nuisance if he's changed your home page... unless... this is all something to do with the recent Firefox update? I had to do the update yesterday (on a Mac) and the first thing it does after you update is bring up an info page instead of the homepage... only the first time though.

Yes perhaps I'm blaming him and it wasn't him cos firefox did an update for me, He wouldn't change my homepage, don't think he'd know how to he only wants to collect his historical photos and look at geneology sites and I've also set him up as a user so he doesn't come into my bit IYKWIM.
I thought perhaps it was to do with his memory stick or whatever you call them I'm not familiar with them.

Poor pc is overworking itself still going after I've got where I want to be.

Thanks for trying to help seems like a lot of other people have looked and I've given them something unsolvable :eek:
