Indeed, if you can prove the address was not serviceable, you can ask the CCBC to reconsider.
IF you dnot have the money have you looked into help with fees?

The original Claim form was sent to my old address, as was the CCJ. The court have told me the claim from and CCJ are raised by Excel and that is why they are addressed to whatever details Excel hold from 2 years ago. The court will only use the details on the portal - apparently. I have not lived at my previous address for 2 years!

    How incomplete was the address?

When you completed the Defence, why did you update the address? Did that not seem..sensible?

I selected from the drop down, submitted my defence and that was it. I had no idea only the house number and street name was present on the portal.
If I had realised the address was incomplete of course I would have sensibly updated it!!

As I mentioned previously, the Claim From was sent to my previous address. This is true for all correspondence, until registering for the online portal. Once you register for the online portal, the court will then send all info to the address on portal - hence why I have not received any of the documents in between.
I am not aware of the help available to me with the fees. Any suggestions would be helpful.
    Thanks
