Company Missed Direct Debits

Hi all,
The company I currently lease my car from have contacted me advising that I have missed a payment on my contract. I checked back and looks as though its an October Payment I missed. Checked further back and they have taken the payment in September and then proceeded to take payment in November and December. Essentially just missing out the October payment at no fault of my own.
Have I got any recourse here to go back to them? Direct Debit is with a legit account that had more than enough in the account to cover the direct debit so unsure as to where to go here?

What recourse are you after? You owe the money and still have the money, so it's just working out with them when they will try and take it.2muchcoffee31 wrote: »Hi all,

Edited to add: Has the missed payment cost you anything by way of admin charges, etc?0 -
Unsure where to go......you pay what you owe, no?0

Surely you would still have the money sitting in your bank account, or was your balance short of a few pence the day they tried to take it and it was rejected and a few days later you thought....cool I have some money left over i'll think I'll spend it.0

2, Ask your bank if they have any record of why the DD didn't go through.0 -
