    If only! Maybe vehicle detectors for traffic counting? With all the new buildings going up maybe they will need to put in new traffic lights?

    In the absence of anything further from the OP, from a bit of googling, they look like 'Remote Traffic Microwave Radar Sensors' to me.

    Quite possibly. They look the same. So why so random? And why in place for so long? To whom would they report, and how?
