but who cares about them
There you go. Bye.0 -

Well you clearly do as you spend hours posting.
I care from the point of view of their unbalanced posting affecting others.
I’m also interested in their mindset as I want a different one to them.
You might not care about them personally but the hpc gang bother you at some level and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing,
To be concerned even repulsed by their mindset and attitude I’d say is a good thing But there is a point it appears like an obsession.
You worry about your own mental health and I will do the same, at least my posts are property related, and I don't go banging on about unrelated opinions like "child bearing windows" every other day that has nothing to do with this board, and I might add I keep my mouth shut when you do.0 -
The 300 year emergency near zero interest rates are not over because the crisis is still not over from 2008, all that happened was they pushed the problems into the future
'They've' managed to push the problems at least 12 years into the future so far and I bet you never thought for a minute that would happen.
How long do you think they can push these problems into the future for?
That's not to say problems of yesteryear don't affect our todays. I'm sure people in 1945 were wondering how WWII was going to be paid for - simple - a drag on the economy which diminishes with each passing year.
The next financial crisis will look familiar to the last (they all do) but it won't be caused by the last one being unresolved in some sort of vague undefined way.0 -

The majority of young people want to have a family and want to buy a house to put them is, so it is very relevant to the housing market.
Of course people can have children in rented accomodation but there are multiple reasons as to why that’s not the preferred option for many.
I think it’s very relevant to housing as the biological imperative is strong in most people and there’s time pressure.
I don’t remember mentioning it for months but of course people who are on here excessively might see the same arguments coming up from time to time.
@triathlon, I am really sorry if I’ve upset you, I am not about that.0 -

Forgiven, but just don't try and prevent me from posting what I find important, just as I never did with you. Yes I have some strong opinions on property outside HPC, it's probably one of the most important decisions of your life that can enhance your life massively.
The reason I go on about HPC(and I do sometimes) is because I was pointed in that direction 15 years ago to a bitter man trying to put the fear of God into me because he never got in on the act showed me that stupid site, it was about the same time Kirsty Allsopp attacked it as well and was villified. Thank God I never took his advice, but by reading the posts over the years on that website I know 10,000's that did, ALL now regretting it.
I know they are constantly after new recruits on here and other sites, and I am here and there trying to stop them, most of my loudest critics on here are HPC, you can be certain0 -

Joker along with Crashy and the rest of them will reach retirement followed not by a retirement speech but by an excuse of why they never purchased their own home, and it won't be their fault0 -

The bear case is usually more compelling - must be something to do with human nature.
People worry about the price they pay for a house no matter what. A crash won't make this go away so buying later is just delaying the worry. What they're missing is that with each passing year from purchase the price paid become less and less important. I laugh at how bothered I was about the couple of grand I negotiated so hard about a couple of decades ago.
Not that Crashy & Joker are bothered. Crashy had some sort of bad experience with ownership back in the nineties and Joker has a free house courtesy of his mum or the taxpayer as far as I remember. They'll never buy.0 -
I belive the market opinion on the liklihood of rate cuts has decreased again due to the latest job sreport
