Privet parking. What will happen if i don't pay.

I received a parking ticket form a privet parking company. I parked in a place that use to be free parking for a center that i go to, however it had been a year or so since i'd last been there and they changed it to privet paling. There was signs saying no parking. The signs and everything else in this parking place are most likely up to the right standers but I didn't see the signs when i parked up. Because it's a place that I use to park for for free and i didn't realize that they had changed the parking there i don't feel inclined to pay them, unless i have no other choice. So i ignored the ticket. 2 months later i get a letter from TNC parking services what basically says 'you need to pay this in 28 days to avoid additional fees.' I'm just wondering what will happen if i don't pay them? is this a company that i can ignore and nothing will come of it? i have left a link to the picture of the ticket and the letter from TNC at the bottom of this message. Because I'm a new user I cant make it a link, so just copy and past it in to you browser to view it. The link is to a free place where i can post up pictures because it doesn't seem like i can do it hear. Thanks in advance.

Maybe the privet hedge will be allowed to grow into a full size hedge??
On a more serious note:
please break you opening post up into paragraphs
There is supposed to be a bed in time when new parking regulations are introduced
Do not bin anything you receive about this and you sholdnt ignore, please read the newbies thread for details.
you will need to state exactly what the signage said - understanding the difference between No parking allowed and Parking charge of X is critical.
As for ignoring this is what may very well hapen if you take the militant ignore route:
Parking charge issued to your vehicle, letter in post titled Parking Charge notice
You ignore
Follow up letter stating so called discount period expired possibly in BOLD LETTERING USING CAPITALS AND/OR EVEN RED TEXT to make it look scary ( if they have shelled out on colour printing)
you ignore.....
letters from some so called debt recovery company, or vairous so called debt recovery companies
you ignore.....
Another letter, possibly called letter before action/letter of claim or something like that
you ignore.......
County court papers, usually from Northampton county court bulk handling centre
you ignore......
A Default Judgement is issued against you, giving you 30 days to pay a (very) inflated trumped up charge - you may not know about this until its too late
you keep on ignoring......
You find you that your credit rating has been trashed and you have a problem, you cant take out a phone contract/loan/mortgage/bank account/car finance and so on.
Even if you pay the CCJ it will continue to trash your record to some extent, marked as satisfied you will still find yourself being turned down for credit/finance, or offered a poor rate.
Overturning the CCJ will not only be costly in both time and initial financial outlay, but it will be difficult as well - as you ignored everything. From the Plain Language Commission:

You need to take a leaf out of everyone elses book by studying the thread at the top of this board that tells Newbies to read it first. Without beating around the bush there is a likelihood they will take you to court over this.
