single tariff with 2 electricity meters

I've searched both forums and comparison sites and cannot find an answer.
We've just moved into an old cottage with 5 storage heaters and economy 7, we also have an oil fired rayburn and a woodburner so we've turned off all the old storage heaters and will get them removed.
Is there a way of finding out which suppliers will allow us to have a single tariff where the 2 lots of readings are simply added together?
I don't want to sign up and find the supplier insists on using economy 7. We are using 1 unit per night & 7 units per day, we are retired so at home a lot at the moment.
I know there are energy company reps on here so perhaps they or others who've experienced similar could give me an idea.

My understanding is under new rules suppliers have to offer people with configurations like yours a single rate tariff. Suggest you only try to switch by phoning a supplier.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

You need to confirm your exact meter set up. Do you have 2 meters or a standard E7 meter with 2 registers, makes a lot of difference to the answer.0

We actually have 2 consumer units, 1 of which is just the storage heaters and is now switched off. We have 1 meter that has 2 readings. Apologies, I got confused by the boxes and wires.0

Thanks, I found that one, but as it was 3 years ago assumed it was quite out of date, especially as the original list hadn't been updated.0 -

An old cottage with storage heaters that are now turned off and getting removed?
What heating are you going to replace them with? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -

I think that applies to E10 meters and the like, but not to E7.My understanding is under new rules suppliers have to offer people with configurations like yours a single rate tariff. Suggest you only try to switch by phoning a supplier.
Bulb no longer offer this, but others certainly do, e.g. Avro. Don't forget that some E7 tariffs are still competitive with low night usage, e.g. Yorkshire Energy.
Just get comparisons for E7 and single rate, then ask your preferred supplier whether they will play ball.0 -
We were with AVRO at our old house and they only supply dual fuel so we couldn't take them with us. That's one of the reasons that I didn't rely on the 2017 thread, because the AVRO information was out of date.I think that applies to E10 meters and the like, but not to E7.

The cottage has an odd setup, our bedroom has both an old storage heater and a radiator fed from the rayburn. The rayburn also supplies the hot water and another radiator in the bathroom. The other bedrooms and study have old storage heaters but they are frankly not needed. The stone walls are 60cm thick and we have found that the cottage is very warm.
I will use the comparison sites as suggested for both E7 and standard then check the supplier.
thank you for the suggestions0 -
We will look at another system next year, the rayburn is around 60 years old although it still works very well. We inherited a tank of oil which gives us time to look for something else, probably a pellet boiler/stove while the renewable heat initiative is still operating. An old cottage with storage heaters that are now turned off and getting removed?
