Query about CASS switch service

Hi,

I am considering switching a Halifax current account into my existing Nationwide current account ( get my wife to refer me so that we get 100 each - i have already referred her previously )

Have used switch service before without problems, but that has just been for accounts with direct debits, this particular Halifax account has an INCOMING payment as well ( monthly occupational pension payment from a previous employer )

Would the CASS service deal with that as well ? As if i had to move the Pension payment myself, i am assuming i wouldnt be able to do it over phone for security reasons, and would have to write to the Pension Dept etc .

Also just to double-check that my wife and myself would be able to get another 100 each from Nationwide ?

Thanks

Incoming amounts should get forwarded to the new account, and the sender informed of the new account details.

I would also inform occupational pension co yourself with the new account details.
While they should get them via the switch service and even if not updated would continue to pass to new account.
I always feel safer making then aware myself.
