Vanguard lifestrategy 80% acc dividend

https://www.hl.co.uk/funds/fund-discounts,-prices--and--factsheets/search-results/v/vanguard-lifestrategy-80-equity-accumulation

I thought the whole point of an accumulation fund was that dividends were not paid.

However on the link above it states that VLS 80% ACC has an ex dividend date of 3 April payable on 31st May. Do you actually receive this dividend and would there be a readjusted price on April 3rd?

No dividend is paid for the Acc fund and there is no 'sudden' price adjustment.

Acc funds have to declare their dividends because unitholders outside of a tax wrapper have to declare the dividends to HMRC.
