PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. If the EAs thought they were a huge bargain just waiting to yield 15%, they'd buy them themselves.
You'd do better to take £25,000 of your spare cash and put it all on red.0 -
No house up for 50K will get you 500 a month, if it says it on the advert don't trust it, Iv seen many houses converted to 5 beds for "students" with "yields of 15%" A 3 bed now with 2 bedrooms where the living/dining room were, If it was true the people who just converted the house would not be selling at a huge jacked up price but keeping it.
190K "12.45% Potential Gross Yield" 100K profit for the developer if they they can shift it on to a fool.

If the claimant get prosecuted for benefit fraud, the DWP will recover the rent payments from the LL. Whilst it sometimes makes sense to have the rent paid direct from the DWP, it could end up being a costly decision.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
