Shower screen query

Hi
I realise this seems a silly question but I've bought a replacement bottom seal for our glass shower screen that sits on the bath edge, the seal pushes on and has a profile with one longer seal edge and one shorter seal edge.
Does the longer or shorter one face into the bath. Not sure which way round the old one went as the wife removed it before I got home to clean the screen!
