Hi,
Yesterday I received a Parking Charge Notice from CPM through the mail. On the notice it shows the vehicle that is registered to me entering a car park and leaving via a cctv camera. The offence occurred on the 24th December but the date of issue of the notice was 8th January (I received on the 10th).
I have done a bit of reading and have noticed that this date of issue falls outside of the 14 day window which they are required to issue the notice. However, due to it being over the Christmas period and the bank holidays, would they be able to wriggle out of it?
I was wondering for any advice on how to go about getting this charge dropped due to them not complying with the POFA.
Thanks in advance for any responses

You probably won't get it dropped , but it failed POFA if it did not arrive by day 15 , meaning no keeper liability
Read the Newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , appeal as keeper using the blue text template , expect a rejection0 -
At IAS stage yes, they will wriggle out of it and appeals DO NOT WORK RE IPC FIRMS - which is why the NEWBIES thread says NOT TO TRY.However, due to it being over the Christmas period and the bank holidays, would they be able to wriggle out of it?
At court stage, they can't wriggle out of it.
But to save all that trouble, just complain to the landowner & they'll cancel it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
