I will cancel on Tuesday when they reopen. There is little to no chance of receiving anything before the trail period ends. I've been scammed!

Hi,

I signed up to the mystuff trial following barclaycard sending me the offer of a 1gb video mp4 and audio mp3 player. Cancelled the trial 10 days later and 1 week after that(today) received the player.

It not bad for free.. It is a coby 2gb (yes 2gb instead of 1gb) player that is in the style of a ipod nano (the tall thin version). It is silver metal on back (just like ipod) and black on front. It has a 1.66" screen and a touch pad with up, down, left, right, center button (play/pause) and a menu and options button.

The ui is nice on top level (pictures) but then goes to generic fixed widget ui further down.

Overall, if you dont have an ipod to compare it with, its not a bad mp3 player.

Just got to remember to cancel the trial before the 30 days. Otherwise the mystuff renews for a whole year!

Hi all,

I've received the welcome pack. Do I actually have to register gadgets/personal possessions before I receive the mp3 player? Or can I just call up and cancel to receive it anyway?

I too had this offer in the post, I refused to even claim the free gift with the terrible insurance they were offering. I can't remember the details but when looking at the small print it was shocking!

I signed up. I never got the MP3. They keep saying that it has been sent & even say they will re-issue another one but nothing yet. I have now cancelled.

YESSS it definitely worked well, applied, got the mp3//4 player and cancelled ! in fact, cancelled before it arrived...and called them to see why there was a delay as I cancelled in the same call!! Going for the £40 petrol now although it doesn't seem as clear cut and does not say as distinctly that the vouchers will be honoured just for accepting the trial as with the player offer...still, who dares wins!
