If it's a remotely modern bus it'll have an array of cameras0

Thank you everyone. Your comments and opinions have been really helpful. I know the general colour scheme of the bus and also how it looked. It is, as previously mentioned, a First Bus operated bus and I have contacted the company.
There are also various shops on the junction where it happened which I am contacting to ask about cctv.
Your contributions to my dilemma have been really helpful.
Who even if they have cctv outside are unlikely to assist you.
Have you reported the accident to the police yet?0 -

Yes. I have a police case reference number should I, the bus company or insurance company need further information or assistance from the police.
I called Siddique Pharmacy, who had the best view of the incident but were completely unwilling to help. When I asked if they have cctv for the shop front the lady responded with "who are you?". When I explained it's because of an accident that happened yesterday outside their pharmacy she said sorry no I can't help.
I'm sure if the police ask they will be more compliant.0 -

They may be able to provide any footage to the police - but they won't get involved for a minor scrape - or your insurance - but they probably won't bother, either.1 -
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this post. The bus company has agreed to repair the damage to my car. Your replies (some of) were very helpful in making a successful claim.2

Report to your insurance and the police as failed to stop. Give insurance the date and time and location and they should do the chasing.0

The 'bus company have already agreed to do the repair. (Read the post by the OP immediately before yours - and that post by the OP is the first on this thread in over a month). What's the point of reporting to the police? Antagonise the 'bus company who've effectively accepted responsibility for the damage?
