Can I be easily tracked?

Sorry not a connection to money as such but it might be as you read on.
First question is how easy is it these days to trace a persons movements from their phone?
Apart from my identity being stolen over Christmas, someone I know seems to know when I leave the house and where I'm going, but as far as I know they dont have my number so not sure how this is possible.

Android phone? Have they compromised your google password? Unless you disable it, google timeline records where your phone is on any android phone you are signed in on.

I use google timeline but how can someone else tap into it? As far as I know my Google password hasent been compromised.

Well only if they have your password or you (or them if they had access to youy phone) share your location with them, however you get a emial/notification regularly for that.


I guess also if they have access to a phone / account for someone you have shared your location with as well works!

No you can't be easily tracked even if someone has your number.

They would need to compromise your phone or online password(s) or you would have to authorise an app or software to allow them to track you.

What makes you think they know when you leave the house and where you are going?

pramsay13, well it might be coincidence but everytime I leave the house or most times when I drive past this certain house they come out of theirs as if to make their presence known.

Maybe they are mimicking the TV advert and want "your" car parking space?

But if you are not sure, why not just change it anyway?

Inner Zone I changed my password every few weeks.

But is there a way to tap into someones Google timeline or something else?

It won't be your phone but to convince yourself of this, switch your phone off for a hour and then drive past their house and see if they still come out.

If they ever had access to your phone they may have installed spyware or keylogger software.
