First Direct not charging overdraft fee

cadherin

Hi all,
Just wondering if someone could clear this up for me - for the last couple of months, I stupidly dipped into my unarranged overdraft twice for about a week each (around 80 quid), which
* should * attract a £5 daily charge from First Direct. But I haven't been charged for this at all.
Anyone know why or whether I should expect the charges a few months later?
Many thanks!

Are you sure you don't have an overdraft limit?
First Direct don't have fee waivers. If you've not been charged and you don't have an overdraft limit then you have somehow got away with it and I wouldn't pay it any more mind.urs sinserly,

First Direct normally give a fee-free overdraft limit of £250 to applicants unless they either opt out or don't qualify.0

We've been with FD for about 30 years
We've always had a £1K O/D limit the first 250 of which is free
I also have a 2nd a/c which strangely is rarely used but has a balance of -£2490
