It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.

    A week here https://www.forevercornwall.co.uk/cottages/south-cornwall/fowey-lerryn/roselyn

Allows two dogs, sleeps 6 people. Not much is actually booked up. So a good chance to get a week you want.
I randomly picked a week in October which was £845 <<<< the limit allowed. I guess you could pay the extra?
    63 mortgage payments to go.

    Zero wins 2016 😥

Easter fortnight is excluded, May half-term is £1595, and anything in the summer holidays is at least two grand. So either they've got the T&Cs wrong or they don't want any families using the property from this competition!

I suppose if I had five wives, no kids, two dogs and a minibus and we didn't mind holidaying in March, this would be a nice little offering!

    Hrumph.

Well I always pay around 550 for a week in a cottage that allows dogs out of season. So I would be well happy to win this for free and go in March or October :)
But I dont have 5 wives and my kids are adults allegedly

It says "Win a Spring time holiday" and I don't know if they've just changed the T&Cs recently, but they currently say "Choose any spring week in 2020 up to 23 May, excluding 4 -18 April.", so I'm not sure if there's the option of going in October (even though it's still £845) or the option to pay extra to go for May half term (if that's 23rd to 30th) or in Summer, but I guess the winner can always ask if that's allowed instead :)

It also says "Prize value relates to value of available weeks at time of publication." so the £845 could just be a guide, and subject to change, with the dates they've defined as the only actual constraints? For example, 28/03 to 04/04 is allowed within the dates, but currently costs £895, so either the price has changed since they published the comp or they've just accidentally overlooked it.

At the moment the available weeks within their defined dates, are 16/05-23/05, 25/04-02/05 and any week up to 04/04. All cost £845 or below, except for the £895 week I mentioned in my previous paragraph.

    A few other details:
Refundable £200 security deposit payable (says £200 in comp T&Cs, although rental site says £350)
Cottage has 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom
Garden is not suitable for toddlers and children under 4 years old
    Two kayaks are also included
    Two well-behaved dogs are welcome
    Free parking 100m from property
