Agree that Georgetown, Penang is the best destination in Malaysia. It's like the whole of Asia crammed into one town.

I was in a Singapore for 3 days last year and loved it. I'm certainly interested in going back as I fleet that I hardly scratched the service. OK, it can be expensive and there are limits on personal freedoms but the efficiency of the place was just amazing to see.

KL underwhelmed me. Maybe it was the torrential rain which I was unfortunate to get and so I spend most of my time wandering around shopping malls but it isn't the "anything goes" fun of Bangkok or the grown up orderliness of Singapore. It's stuck between the two without dong anything especially well.

Just fmi, what limits on personal freedom did you experience in Singapore?
It's your money. Except if it's the governments.

Personally, none at all, but I may have felt differently if I had gone with a same sex partner.

    Don't think so.
