Can I print just the lines on Spreadsheets

Hi
I am using open office.Without installing any figures I would like to adjust the grids on the spreadsheets and print off.

But it's not allowing to print saying there's nothing to print.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

MS Works lets me do it by using select all then borders/outline and just print no of pages required.
  • Why are you trying to do this in OO Clac?

Why not use the table feature of OOWrite then you can set your table up to suit and print it out with more control.
  • Yep, just put a full stop in the the bottom right hand square that you want printed, minimise it to a tenny weeny font and it should print all the lines and you won't be able to see it unless you know it's there!

Just select the blank area you want to print, choose 'File>Print...', the check 'Selection'. You'll probably need to give the cells borders so that they get printed.

  • as miss_phish say but you also need to go to the menu -
Format - Page - Sheet tab and select Grid before it will print the grid outlines
  • Just type anything in the cells using 'WHITE' as the colour of your font, it wont show up when you print
  • Do a mixture of what miss_phish and rocketman say.

Put a dot in the bottom right hand corner of your document and make the print colour white.

That is what I do and it works a treat!
