Poor credit with no gurantor in need of a small loan £600. Is there anyone out there that can advise of a reputable firm. I don't mind having to pay back a higher rate of interest.

    Try an eligibility checker.
  • How poor is your credit? If you are in arrears or default on any other loans or agreements then there won’t be many willing to lend to you at “normal” rates.

I am in some arrears. Just trying to get back on an even footing (sigh). Possibly I should look at other means to do so than a high interest loan. Some broker advised they could without a gurantor called little loans. I pay £25 from my debit card which is refunded with the loan from my debit card. However I've read these sorts of things are scammers making money from you.

If you're in arrears, forget it. Cut your costs back to clear your current debts first.

    Whats the money for ?

    Got anything to sell ?

Are you still caring for your cousin ?

Either you increase your income or reduce your spending or do both.

Yes .. If you are being asked to pay money to get a loan then it is a scam plain and simple

Be very wary on those broker sites - they are rife with this type of scam . NEVER enter your card details into them.

It sounds like you dont need to borrow more money but sort out your current debts and get them paid down.

Please don't pay any money to get a loan, these will potentially be scammers or loans with an APR in the 1000% or more that will only make your situation worse. If you are in arrears then this will show on your credit file and nobody is likely to offer you a loan. Sorry, don't mean to be blunt.

Try going on the Debt Free board on here and post a SOA to get advice on where you can cut costs rather than borrowing more.

I was trying to consolidate some of my debts.

I'm still here doing my carer duties for my sins in a prior life. It's been 4 weeks since my call and lahaw form and supporting documents was sent in. Not heard a peep but I am being paid this month. He is being called on 16th.

I have my mother's jewellery I could always put in the pawn maybe. It's sentimental though however if needs must.

Thanks everyone for your sane advice. Such a stupid idea to think like that. January is a stressful time of year I guess for everyone. I'm not a massive spender and I am usually very cautious with money. I just wanted to try and clear my feet so to speak. I will look on the debt forums etc. Thanks again.
