Thanks that sounds more reasonable. The plant was only installed today and working today. It may be an interesting one because we were told that we would have an easement because the original drain down his garden was connected to ours for the last 70 years. there is nothing in the deeds however....
I have contacted a few solicitors, one has quote 250 for each property plus vat plus fees.
We do want it tied up properly as I am sure he will!

My solicitor wrote to my neighbour advising him he should get his own independant advice if he wished. Had he chosen to do so there would have been a 2nd solicitor's fee, but he was happy to review my solicitor's draft himself -it was pretty self-evident what the deed said and as I said, it was all amicable.
