Economy energy still owe me

I was in the process of switching when Economy energy ceased trading. They continued to take payments for 3 months after I switched before i realised and cancelled the payments. The Ofcom website said OVO would refund any overpayments but when I tried to contact them they have no record as I was switching to another provider before they took over. I'm owed about £300...how do I claim this back?
