I like the sound of this account. It seems it may be more profitable than my Club Lloyds account now the interest rate has been reduced. Problem is, how long will it last?
    You can do both....
  • OP, my other half is a homemaker and her application was accepted (just in Dec) even if she have couple of more bank accounts which she applied recently to get switching bonus. But all applications are different, so you will only know if you apply. One thing to note is you will have to call if you want to register for online banking as somehow it fails you to register online but it was quick call to resolve, if you want to use online banking in first place. Another point is, after the application is accepted, you will get all the relevant account details, card and PIN and then post that you will also get a letter to confirm your residence to show you actually reside in UK. So any utility bill (original, if copy then need to certify) and also any ID (only copy but a certified copy) and they will send the prepaid envelope for you to send the documents. Atleast this was the case for us.
