New boiler cost. Justified?

Options
What can I expect to pay for a standard combi boiler swapped out with minimal pipe work (straight swap) for a 3 bed semi. I have tried to get quotes but any good plumber is rushed off their Diddy little feet currently.......!
Boxt seems to be telling me £2 k fitted
The boiler offered seems to be £900 in screw fix.

£2000 is a good price from Boxt, if they are going to flush the system properly (which takes a day). Boxt will also notify building control and issue a completion certificate.

If your current boiler doesn't have a condensate drain (i.e. it is not a condensing boiler), or doesn't have a roomstat or pump overrun, Boxt will need to add this for building regulation compliance.

You really just need to make sure your contract with Boxt (or any other supplier) states that they are responsible for
    - compliance with building regulations in respect the installation
    - notifying Building Control
    - installing the boiler in line with the manufacturer's requirements for the manufacturer's warranty.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Pump over run will not need to be added.

Check the warranty on the boiler. You can sometimes get a longer warranty if you use an installer from the manufacturer's approved list.
