There is usually 2 drivers for that route (due to long hours).A few years ago i went to London from the North and it stopped at Heathrow airport then Victoria coach station.

This is ridiculous, I'd recommend making one polite request to be let off, and then if that doesn't work I'd personally just proceed to my seat and report the matter by calling 999/112, and then requesting the Police. I would ask for them to send officers to meet the coach at Victoria, and inform them that I wish to report false imprisonment by the coach driver. Whilst still resulting in me being overcarried, that would result in a fuss that neither they (National Express), nor the coach driver, would be able to avoid. I'd then ask the National Express staff to make arrangements for getting me back to Heathrow free of charge, and that did not work I'd get the next available taxi that would issue an invoice, and then send the bill to National Express. If everyone overcarried made their point like that then coach drivers would think twice about breaking the law.

Kiko4564, do you think wishuponastar might've missed his/her flight by that time?

That could explain his mood as he was fine at the start of the journey, so maybe the 2nd driver bailed or didn't turn up and he had to continue over what he was supposed to, which would explain his reaction. He was on time and everything so it's not like he was late / pressured from being late to Victoria.

I'm just going to wait to see what NE say on the matter.
  • Thanks for your thoughts Kiko4645. I really can't imagine the police coming to help in all fairness for such an issue. Plus i'd rather get off where i'm supposed to (and catch the flight) even if i needed to manually open the door myself, it's easier all round in my opinion.

Calling the police in these circumstances is a ridiculous overreaction, a waste of police time and in no way likely to assist the OP in getting to her actual destination on time.

If that was the case i'd understand why he was so annoyed but i definitely was at the heathrow coach station in T2/3 and my ticket said heathrow T2/3.
Very weird.... You've got a ticket to Heathrow Coach Station which is a scheduled stop and he's driven there but doesn't want to stop? Even if he had been running late and likely to get a rollocking for being late - he should now get a bigger one as a result of the complaint! Hope you get a decent answer from NE.
I need to think of something new here...

Based on previous threads - Kiko has their own reasons for involving police if they can.

I suspect there are two sides to this story, the OP has already claimed that the driver was trying to kidnap her!
