Looks like someone has taken a very sharp instrument and scratched the paint pad on the door of my car. I cannot see if has broken through to metal as its dark, however, running my fingers over it I can feel a deep indent in the paint. Any thoughts on what I can do now?
The car is a few years old and I do not intend to change it for a couple of years. Most likely I will run it into the ground.

If you intend running it into the ground, then are you particularly bothered about the cosmetics?0

Is it down to metal?
If so, protect it somehow to stop/inhibit rust. Then move on with life if you are running it into the ground, bigger things to worry about.Life isn't about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away. Like choking....0
