your image doesn't really show me enough to make a conclusion about your meter. One thing to ask BG when you call them.. is..."what was the first read sent when the meter was installed"0

By law they have to read your meter once a year.[/QUOTE I I don't know were you got that information from but it is not true. They used to have to do an inspection every 2 years but that has now bee relaxed.
@Yorkie2020 if you read the BG T&Cs you will find it requires you to submit meter readings twice per year. If you ever receive a bill with an estimated reading you should always check the reading against the meter and unless it is only very slightly different you should always providd your supplier with a reading.]IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
