I have an old hudl 2 I wish to sell, does anyone know what the current situation with these devices is? I had heard that a factory reset can potentially brick the device, not sure if that is still the case?

Given the fact that cheap and better Android tablets can be bought for like £30-50 new I don't think you will find much market for 2nd hand obsolete device like the Hudl 20

Thanks no I’m only expecting £10 or so for it on eBay they seem to go for about that price better than it staying unused in a drawerI can offer no resistance, I can offer no respite

Try using it as a "project" by flashing it with a custom Android ROM?0

By the time eBay and Paypal have had their wicked way with you and their fees, I think it would be better in your drawer.0

You can re-purpose it as an information display showing weather/traffic info news etc. or a digital picture frame.0

my old hudl2 doubles as a chopping board.0

As far as I am aware it is no longer the case and the servers have been reinstated.
I share the view others have expressed. It is a shame as the have a quality "feel" and a much better screen than many of the cheap tablets around at the moment but you are stuck at Android 5.X unless you are into the clever stuff!
Also, depending on how bothered you are about security, you may not feel just doing a factory reset is good enough?0 -
completed listings on ebay suggest £20-30 for a working one in good condition if you have original box and leads add a few more £ on0

they are still pretty popular.
I sold one pre xmas and it sold for over £40. I was quite surprised as condition wasnt great (it was used by my kids) but can see on ebay now that £30-£50 is the norm.
I did a full reset and it was fine (despite reading the stories about it turning into a brick.)
The tech is a bit slow, but if just for browsing, and some books and simple games its still up to the job.
Full factory reset and then ebay it.0
