                    Hello all,
First time poster, although have been reading for a while.
I have seen similar posts which are the exact same circumstances as mine.
My vehicle was stopped for 42 seconds on the approach road at Manchester Piccadilly and I have received a invite to pay.
I have followed all the advice from the Newbies thread and sent an appeal through to them using the template which has as predicted been rejected.
I also attached still images obtained from Jaz Syed YouTube videos which shows the signage being inadequate.
Yet they dismissed this stating it has been issued correctly.
Not satisfied I called up to speak to an advisor (not helpful). I advised that a NIP had to be served within 14 days off alleged offence, as such this is not a NIP but an invitation to pay. I’ve advised I’m politely declining the invitation to pay.
I highlighted that there is inadequate signage.
The call handler stated she will note everything down on my file. I made a comment along the lines of I bet your notes will be inadequate also. To which she actually replied “yes they will be”. Either she doesn’t get sarcasm or is just unprofessional and lying.
She’s directed me to IAS for a further appeal but I’ve read on other posts not to go to IAS.
Bit stuck with how to take this now, sit and ignore or take it further?

Ignore and read the miss bizzita thread for clarity on the situation which you must have read because the video links are in it0

Yeah I’ve done that. So ignore everything including an appeal with IAS?
Don’t bother with the landowner email route either? This Lucinda person?0

Who is 'this Lucinda person' - a landowner representative, or a UKCPS employee? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I gave my advice in that other thread , band together , complain , make a fuss , don't bother with the IAS , let a judge decide , I am not sure which parts of that advice you don't understand ?0

You know what, I read on the other thread to start your own thread to avoid confusion I do that very thing and your reply is somewhat passive aggressive. Thank you for your post. You needn’t reply again0

We deal with about a hundred queries a day, day in day out, so sometimes you will get a curt response.
It is not personal, it is the only way we can prevent ourselves from drowning in questions that in many cases are already answered.
The regulars are from all walks of life and have different posting styles. Some have disabilities, some are dyslexic, some have no time to spoon feed whereas other will sometimes spend more time on one case than another.
Know you this though, every one of us gives up our time for free to fight this scam. We are all on your side, even though sometimes in might not seem like it.
Always, always complain to the landowner/retail manager/managing agent.
 Always complain to your MP.
Always appeal to a scammer as long as they are in an ATA.
Always appeal to PoPLA but never to the IAS.
This is explained in the NEWBIES and many, many other threads, but we find ourselves having to repeat it time and time again. Imagine doing that a hundred times a day and perhaps you will get too understand how it feels from our point of view and why occasionally you get a particular type of responseI married my cousin. I'm not sure where she is in the landowner food chain, but she doesn't sound too helpful.
Why not try to find the name of the head honcho and write (not phone) to him/her?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
