Are your electric supplies at risk at all? Would it be wise to stock up on some things you can eat that don't need cooking and can be eaten cold? Even things you wouldn't normally eat but would do in an emergency. If you don't need to use them you could always donate them later to a foodbank.
Fortunately we are not at risk in that respect, there are some some fire in WA but not near where I live. Although its a very good point, I could bring our the camping stove if needed. My reason for creating a stockpile was to safeguard because transport cant get through from the eastern states which is where a lot of our food comes from
Love people use things. The opposite never works.
