AXA or AutoAid Breakdown Cover

    Sorry no experience of AXA or AutoAid. But have you considered Startrescue? Been with them for donkeys years and amongst the cheapest, if not the cheapest. On the few times i've had to call them out, no issues at all, recovery vehicle arrived within 30 mins & car was fixed promptly. They're also a Which? recommended provider.

    Just had a look at this and it was double the cost of AutoAid to get the same level of cover.
    Does anyone know for sure do AutoAid cover both you and your spouse driving two different cars?
    Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:

  • Melbury, yes they cover you and spouse driving either of your cars. Cover is comprehensive and though it's gone up recently it does seem to be a really good deal for couples. I broke down just before Xmas and the service was excellent

    Thanks so much for clarifying that. 

    I have looked around but none of the other companies come close in price for dual cover which includes recovery as well, so will definitely go with AutoAid.
