Survey found on RedditWe are Tom Phan, Caitlin Ryan, Inbal Iahr and Kat Smith and we are final year Psychology students at Royal Holloway, University of London. We are carrying out a study on attitudes towards password security, supervised by Dr. Marco Cinnirella. If you would like to discuss any aspect of the research with Dr. Marco Cinnirella, you can contact him by email (M.Cinnirella@rhul.ac.uk). We would appreciate your participation, because password security is a key issue affecting individuals and companies and we believe that this research can help create safer password behavior.
You have to be over 17 and be a current university student to take part in this study.
If you decide to take part, we will ask you to answer multiple choice questions concerning password security. This will take around 7 minutes and will be conducted online. Upon completion you will have the chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher. Nobody except ourselves and our supervisor and examiner will be allowed to see your files/questionnaires and, in the study, you will be known only by number. So, the information is completely confidential. Copies of this anonymous information may be made available to other bodies for further research. This project may be written up for publication or used in presentations at conferences. Your involvement in the study will not be made apparent and all data is fully anonymized.
You do not have to take part in this study if you don’t want to. If you decide to take part you may withdraw at any time without having to give a reason. Your decision whether or not to take part will not affect your education in any way.
If you choose to withdraw your data after the study has finished you are entitled to do so by January 13th 2020. To withdraw your data by email please email one of the emails listed below and quote your reference number. If you would like to maintain complete anonymity when withdrawing your data then you can contact Dr. Marco Cinnirella on his email listed below.

Fair enough. I think they do select a winner though (especially surveys run by universities etc.). I have managed to win a £50 Amazon voucher by participating in a survey, by the way. :j0
