Setting up a Ltd Company after IVA
Options
Looking for any advice. My partner and I both went through very difficult divorces before we met, which resulted in us both going through some financial difficulty.
Luckily we have both come through it and are looking to now start our own Ltd carpentry and construction business. The issue is that my partner entered into an IVA 4 years ago, although this was paid off 12 months ago. We are both feeling slightly nervous about talking to banks etc due to this. Has anyone else been through this?

They will carry out credit checks and it may be a hindrance in not only opening a business bank account but also if you require any borrowing.0
