Hi, my dad passed away in December and I am the only executor of his will. Some of his bank accounts didn't require probate and they have transfered the funds to my account. This includes his main bank account which should go to my mum, according to his will. Mum is 91 years old and has never had a bank account, but it's in process now. I have heard about a Legal Document which gives authority to share out the estate, but I don't think I should need this to give mum dad's money?
