Simple Budgeting App

Hi all,
I'm on the hunt for a simple Budgeting app on my phone and was wondering if anyone could recommend any?
There are loads out there, but the ones I've tried so far haven't done what I'm looking for.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to set monthly spending limits for different categories (for example, £80 on fuel) and then manually enter when I've spent money in that category, so that it will let me know what my remaining budget is for the month.
I'm looking for a free app and don't really need/want to link bank accounts to it.
If anyone has any suggestions, or if there's another thread it would be worth looking at, please let me know!
Thanks in advance

I used to use Goodbudget on Android. Its an envelope budgeting app, and pretty simple. It was free, at least when I used it a few years back. Or are you iPhone?
Goodbudget is not a wholehearted recommendation, I now use YNAB - it is far superior in my view, but it has more of a learning curve and is costs about 9 GBP a month.0 -
