Starling Rejected For DD

Has anyone ever come across Starling, or any bank I guess as a DD source.

I called three broadband yesterday to change my details over and they said Starling is not accepted as a challenger bank, I already have 3 mobile with a DD on Starling - seems crazy when they have their banking licence etc.

Then the issue is with three. It may be that they are using an old copy of the Industry Sort Code Directory (eISCD) which is updated weekly but sometimes companies do not update as often as they should - Bank Wizard software is notorious for this.

I would message starling in app, I believe that they have a team that work with merchants on such things

I have DD with Three on my Starling account just fine. It's for mobile contract though not Broadband, might be different divisions.

Have you tried calling again and speak with a different agent? It's sounds too bizarre for three mobile to accept Starling for DDs, while their Broadband to reject it.
