I expect that, like anybody else, they will be short-staffed at the moment.  I put in a ticket first thing on Friday, and got my credit yesterday;  but what matters is that it arrived, not that it didn't arrive the same day.  (And maybe even Americans have time off over Easter, even though the daily targets don't reflect it.)
I notice that the auto-response e-mail no longer asks you to reply to it and confirm the ticket (without which the ticket was never even passed to a human) but I reply just to be on the safe side, and I haven't yet been turned down if I was able to supply a screenshot in evidence of completion.
I have discovered that customer service do not appear to work on Fridays or Saturdays. Maybe because they are Jewish and these will be their days off. If I put a ticket in on a Friday I would not expect it to be credited until Sunday. Other days seem to be OK. There was one survey I did two weeks ago where I had screenshots of the pages during the survey and the Congratulation on completing a survey page when I was returned to the Swagbucks site which I have still not received credit for. Initially I was told to wait 10-14 days before approaching them again but still receive a generic response and no credit. Think I can write those points off.

They say:  "Customer Support is available from 9am - 5pm (PDT) Mon-Fri", and  I very much doubt if they would say that if they were in fact closed on Fridays.

Thanks to all those that post.
  • Anyone else notice today on discover AscendMedia (Creator a day) that the videos kept pausing?  I normally set it to play and then go away for 20 mins or so and when I come back I just click on complete - when I came back today it was paused on video 2.  Then the rest of the videos kept pausing as well.

Thanks to all those that post.

I had no unusual problems with Creatoraday - it always pauses a couple of times during its run, and I set it going again - but the regular Hideout videos on AdscendMedia are pausing constantly from early this afternoon, whereas they used to run for a while before popping up a box asking if you are still watching.  There is no way that I am going to sit watching videos run all day!

I noticed Shaw Academy are back under Discovery. They offer "free courses" with a free trial. Just a warning, I had a huge headache getting them to refund money they stole from my paypal account a while back after taking one of these free trials. I cancelled well within the 30 days limit but was charged the full amount when the trial expired. Because I was weary of taking such offers, I screenshot EVERYTHING during the sign-up and cancellation process.

After a lengthy back and forth opening a dispute with paypal I got the money back because there was nothing they could do in the face of my screenshots from their members area where it clearly stated I cancelled, AND  screenshots of emails I had from their "customer service" clearly confirming  that I had cancelled and would NOT be charged (these were sent BEFORE they stole the money from my account). As soon as I sent these to paypal, within 24 hours I had my money back - but it was a couple of weeks of paypal giving me the brush off with closing disputes with the usual cut and paste replies from them.

So I'm sure several people here have taken up the offer and had no problem with them - that's great, I'm just saying be careful and screenshot EVERYTHING if ou decide to take up the offer.
I used a link to them when no payment details were required to get some swagbucks - I didn't like the look of the site so used an e-mail address that I keep just for rubbish - they must have sent hundreds of e-mails since offering all sorts of deals a good number saying it was my "last chance" to take up the offers, of course it wasn't they still kept sending them, a few months ago they finally seemed to have stopped although a handful have started to come through again.
