However, all those referred to here seem to start with a 2, and I only ever get surveys which start with a 1 and am never lucky enough to get a Userzoom one!  I even installed the Userzoom add-on in the hope of tempting them, but no luck.

I had installed the add-on when a survey required it (did not have it before then) and left it for a while before deleting it - now if necessary for a particular survey I download it but uninstall within a few days and seem to get offered their surveys just the same

I have 9 surveys on offer at the moment six start with a 2 and three with a 3  - because I have completed one today I don't attempt any more.

Out of curiosity I just clicked on  30677958 didn't qualify but it was a userzoom

  • Sorry if this has been covered before (I've checked recent pages but not seen it mentioned), but I was wondering if anyone else has problems trying to submit Lidl receipts. Every one I've tried to upload lately has been rejected as out-of-date, despite being less than 10 days old, and a clear image. I've messaged Swagbucks Support, and they've manually credited the points, but it's a bit of a faff, and sadly they do not seem interested in fixing the problem (I'm not even convinced that they understand it, even though I explained it as clearly as possible). Oddly, one of the tips in the reply was to ensure that submitted receipts are less than 14 (not 10) days old.

I believe it is the date format on Lidl receipts US not UK standard so they all look out of date - except for a few days a year!

Thanks, ali71. Just before I came back to this page and saw your message, I had a proper look (i.e. searched for the word 'Lidl' in this forum, rather than just reading the last few pages on the off-chance of finding a mention), and saw a few posts from others who were having the same issue. Glad it ain't just me!
The thing is, the date on my Lidl receipts is in UK format (dd/mm/yyyy), as with other receipts issued in the UK. If you mean the opposite - i.e. the Swagbucks system is using the US format (mm/dd/yyyy) and is consequently 'misreading' the UK format (which was my suspicion to begin with) - then it's an even bigger mystery how I've successfully uploaded shop receipts with the UK format. And this includes receipts with dates which would lead to rejection due to age if the day and month were reversed in line with the American format. For example, this month I got points for a Tesco receipt dated 2/12/20, which - if the theory were true - would have been rejected as being for a purchase made on 12th February, way over 10/14 days out of date!
Like I said, when I first had receipts rejected as out of date (I only started submitting them earlier this year) I suspected that the formatting difference between the UK and the US was the culprit, which made me think "Blimey, they're going to have some problems with this!" But this can't be the problem, as I had already (and have since) been awarded points for plenty of other receipts which would've been rejected if that were the case.
I'm going to have to put it down as another mystery of the inner workings of Swagbucks!

Thanks @silverfairy. I actually got a code thread notification for this. at first it seemed to lead to a deleted or missing post, but having visited the thread, the notification then linked correctly.
